Hatsan AT44 i require some info

Recommended Posts

Hi

Looking for some tips & advice!

A heavy handed friend of mine has a Hatsan AT44, he brought it round to me, as he has found out I fettle! He has broken the cocking arm, don’t ask me how FFS.

I like to do my homework before I fettle, hence why I am here!

I have worked on AA, HW, Crossman PCP’s and spring rifles, and this will be my first Hatsan

I have a few questions, bear with me!

1. Is the Hatsan fitted with AT?

2. if not are they easy to maintain?

3. Is there an exploded diagram of the AT44?

4. Dose the cylinder unscrew like the old HW100, without dumping all its air?

Also is there an online supplier of the Hatsan parts, I know of Chambers & Knibbs.

But prefer to deal with Knibbs rather than Chambers as I find them a tad expensive!

Just asking if there is an alternative online shop, or better still is there a member on here I could get some tips, advise, help from?

So if anyone can help all of the above many thanks in advance!

Regards

Davy

hi Aaron

nice one buddy

just got out of my man cave, the hammer sear was jammed with the bolt probe :censored: nightmare, got it sorted though.

drilled out the AT to get the bolt housing off,and took the head of the screw,so need a new one :icon_eek: nothing major!

what did surprise me that there was no grease on metal to metal, no wonder!it was only a matter of time before the grind turned in to a snap!

the AT blank was thin too :icon_eek: but all removed now!

just have to order a new cocking arm and and mechanism connecting screw, and a seal kit while i have it in bits!

going to send him a pic Saturday morning of his pride and joy,all in a empty Chinese takeaway tub

he might start to appreciate his air gun from now on :hmm:

thanks buddy

i haven't used it just worked on it, the stock looks like a aas410.the cylinder is like a aas200 ?

the internals are in poor condition but just need a de-buring and a polish, and the right grease for metal to metal moving parts and a new seal kit too.

i will give it a test run, once i have it all back together, its in bits at the moment!
